Skiing in the Hailey area offers both world class downhill/alpine skiing and cross country. The following offer skiing and winter recreation:
For cross country skiing (classical and skate) and snowshoe

North Valley Trails System
For alpine skiing, there is a local area called Rotarun Ski Hill located two miles west of Hailey. Rotarun has a Poma lift and a rope tow and plans to build a tubing park for 2005.
Soldier Mountain Ski Area is located 11 north of Fairfield and offers great skiing and snowboarding for the novice to expert.Call 208-764-2526 for snow report.
